Wolf

Many thoughts jostle for mindspace – the situation is worse than the 9 am Churchgate local.

My father says – the biggest failure, in today’s time and age, is when two people can’t find a way to understand each other and co-exist peacefully. We are debating whether a certain divorce should happen in the realms of the extended kith and kin. Well, it’s not always that simple. Sometimes, circs are beyond control and then, say I, why should one make this gargantuan effort to compromise? Doesn’t one deserve the kind of happiness which comes out of resonant co-existence? Pat comes the thought – When we take a concept like divorce as a lil more than the last armageddonish resort, the process - wherein we are trying to understand the other person - becomes half-hearted.

Perhaps, it is so. Perhaps, we squeal ‘Wolf’ too easily.

True!! Though it is much easier and more socially acceptable to separate nowadays. It definitely gives people an opportunity not to live a life full of compromises and fooling themselves. At the same time it has also made people not to put that extra effort to make the relationship work. as you say maybe we tend to shout 'Wolf' early. Any relationship will take time and effort to nurture and overcome the occassional downturns. Separation should be seen only as a final unavoidable option.

think that 'understandin' is a tad bit over-rated. If one understands the other person too well.. when the 2 are in sync. .. the fun part which comes wid a li'l bit unpredictability goes amiss.
I think faith is all too impo... where one can say.. i dont understand .. but 've faith in ya..and if this something is so imp. to u.. it's imp.to me as well.
Another thing which is as impo. i guess is communication.. one got to communicate at all
levels. most..almost all of the pblms surface
up coz of lack of communication at some level
or the other.
